On the morning of December 7, Ms. Jingyu Bao, a representative of Yibin Kaiyi Automobile Co., LTD., and Mr. Wei Chai, representative of Sensetime Technology Co., LTD., visited SCUPI. Having heated discussions with SCUPI team in terms of joint scientific research, university-industry cooperation and other matters. Dr. James Lee, Associate Dean for Research, Dr. Xiaomei Tan, Industrial Engineering professor, Ms. Michelle Xue, Career Advisor and Ms. Yunyue Jiang, General Administrator, participated in the discussion.
The Lab team led the delegation to visit SCUPI’s new building located at Jiang’an South Campus. SCUPI’s new labs and facilities will provide more solid foundation for future potential cooperation.
Three parties held discussions on potential areas and directions of cooperation, actively explored the possibility of establishing a joint laboratory for human factors engineering, and agreed to carry out feasibility demonstration and research as soon as possible.
SCUPI will continue to explore and expand university-industry cooperation opportunities to cultivate SCUPI students to become future engineers.
