On November 19, 2025, Sichuan University – Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI), Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INP), and Airbus (Chengdu) Aircraft Life-Cycle Services Co., Ltd. (ALSC) successfully co-hosted a trilateral exchange event.
The gathering not only tightened the SCUPI–Airbus industry–academia bond, but also wove together the innovation chains of Toulouse and Chengdu—two global “aerospace cities”—showcasing a new paradigm for cultivating international engineering talent.
Led by Dr. Minking Chyu, the delegation included Prof. Adam QUOTB, Head of the Master of Science ESECA, Coordinator of the Master of Science programs, Co-Head of International Relations at Toulouse INP/ENSEEIHT, together with Prof. Junwu Tao, International Relations Coordinator. They sat down with ALSC Fuhao Chen, Head of Operations, Fangliang Tian, Head of Safety&Quality, Mengdi Jiao, Head of HR, Baibing Chen, Recruiter, Lijing Pan, HR Operations for in-depth discussions on talent development, joint research, internships, and graduate employment.
ALSC designed an “Airbus Core Values” workshop and ice-breaking session for the 16 SCUPI students, immersing them in the corporate culture and talent criteria while sparking their intellectual curiosity and career aspirations.

Together, faculty and students toured ALSC’s one-stop service center, experiencing cutting-edge practices in aviation sustainability.
This trilateral linkage has significantly strengthened university–enterprise cooperation, pushing SCUPI and Airbus to deepen collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific innovation, and industrial synergy. The three parties will co-build an integrated education–technology–industry–talent ecosystem, propelling the high-quality development of China’s aviation sector.
