The University of Bristol Delegates Visited Sichuan University – Pittsburgh Institute

On November 7, 2024, Dr. Meng Wang, Associate Professor in School of Computer Science, and Baihui Su, 3+1 Programme Representative in China, University of Bristol, visited the Sichuan University – Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI). Minking Chyu, Dean of SCUPI, greeted the delegation, and hosted the meeting. The meeting was also attended by TZ Mai, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Vivi Tang, Director of Administration; Wenxi Mou, Director of Career Advising; and Yong Zhao, Professor in Computer Science. The attendees had an in-depth discussion on the joint cultivation of students and agreed to make joint efforts for sustainable collaboration.
After the meeting, the delegation conducted a seminar for SCUPI students. They provided detailed information on the University of Bristol, including the major choices, accommodation condition, tuition fees, scholarship opportunities and application procedures. The event ended with the Q&A session enthusiastically utilized by the students. Questions were raised on program curriculum, application requirements, and learning resources.
