SCUPI

The Student Innovation Forum (SIF) at Sichuan University-Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI) will take place on April 20 and 21, 2024, at the new Pittsburgh Institute building in the South Area of Jiang’an Campus, Sichuan University. We cordially invite faculty and students from Sino-foreign collaborative institutions to join us in shaping the future together.

SIF is a hallmark event organized by the SCUPI Student Council, designed to provide a dialogue platform for students from joint institutions for exploring future career opportunities and enhancing communication skills. This year’s forum will focus on the theme ‘Building a Shared Future: The Feature Practice and Student Growth in Sino-foreign Collaborative Education,’ with participation from students across 20 Sino-foreign cooperative institutions.

Agenda

Day 1: Opening Ceremony (April 20th, 14:00-15:00), General Sessions (15:00-17:00) where representatives from each college share insights on ‘Feature Practices and Student Growth in Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education’, followed by Ice Breaking events (17:00-17:40) and a Campus Tour (17:40-18:40).

Day 2: Sub-forums (April 21st, 9:00-11:30) on topics like course selection systems, student support measures, unique college activities, and focus on student mental health education, followed by the Closing Ceremony (12:00-13:00).

A Teachers’ Forum will also be held on the morning of April 21st, inviting counselors and student union advisors from all institutions to discuss topics related to student management and growth.

This celebration of Sino-foreign cooperative education is not just a forum for dialogue about the future; it is a commitment to build that future together.
