SCUPI delegation visited Shanghai Jiaotong University & University of Michigan Joint Institute (JI)

On December 14, 2023, our Academic Affairs and Career Advising Team went to JI to learn and share.
Dr. Wang Chong, leadership of JI. Dr. Ma Chengbin, Director of Tang Junyuan Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ms. Wu Qi, Director of the Student Affairs Office, Ms. Wei Jingxin, Director of the Admission Office, Ms. Sun Shuai, Alumni Specialist of the Office of Development and Cooperation, Mr. Li Qiujian, Student Counselor, Mr. Liu Zhizhuo, Secretary of the CYL, and Ms. Sheng Siyuan, Career Development Counselor, took part in the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Wu Qi.
Ms. Jia Yueyue, Director of Academic Affairs, Ms. Xue Shuang, Career Advisor being in charge of Internship and Employment, and Ms. Luosang Zhima, Career Advisor being in charge of Alumni Association, introduced SCUPI’s efforts in the corresponding sections.
As a pioneer in Sino-foreign joint institute, JI is a model for Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. During the meeting, both sides carried out in-depth exchanges on teaching management, industry-university-research cooperation, enrollment, alumni work, etc.
Both sides learned from each other and will continue to work hard to cultivate future engineers and comprehensive talents with an international perspective and a strong sense of responsibility.
