Introduction: This lecture will be presented by Professor Shi Yiyu, who holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, a master’s, and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of California, and currently serves as a professor at Notre Dame University. Professor Shi Yiyu will discuss the feasibility of employing artificial intelligence in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, as well as the design of the world’s first smart Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD). He will also demonstrate how these technologies can reshape the landscape of both mobile and implantable devices.
