GO SCUPIANS! SCUPI achieved a remarkable historical milestone during the SCU 2023 Athletics Championship!

The 6th Sports and Cultural Festival at Sichuan University, including the 2023 Athletics Championship, wrapped up on October 28, 2023, with Sichuan University-Pittsburgh Institute achieving historic success. We secured the Best Organization Award, the Third Prize for Outstanding Sports Work Unit, and the Second Prize in the Sichuan University 2023 Student Athletics Championship.
Notable individual achievements include Wu Yuzhou’s 1st place in Men’s Shot Put and Zhu Xuanyu’s 3rd place in Men’s Shot Ball. In team events, SCUPIANS performed admirably, with a 6th place finish in Men’s 4x100m Relay and a 5th place finish in Women’s 4x100m Relay.
Beyond the competition, dedicated volunteers provided crucial support, ensuring the overall success of the 6th Sports and Cultural Festival. Thanks to all athletes and staff for their hard work. SCUPIANS, see you next year!
