Ghent University Representative visited SCUPI

On the afternoon of April 13, 2025, Mr. Zhang Chi, Chief Representative in China of Ghent University visited SCUPI to discuss new pathways for international educational cooperation. SCUPI Leadership and Career Advising Group welcomed Mr. Zhang. Following the discussion, Mr. Zhang toured SCUPI new building, including its teaching facilities and industry-academia-research collaboration platform. Coinciding with the 2025 Student Innovation Forum at SCUPI, Mr. Zhang had the opportunity to communicate with student representatives from 23 China -foreign joint institutions across China.
During the visit, the two parties reached preliminary consensus on building collaborations in areas such as student exchange programs, integrated undergraduate-master’s degree programs, and academic tours. This visit laid the foundation for establishing a long-term and stable partnership between the two institutions. Both sides expressed their anticipation for jointly cultivating high-quality talent with a global perspective and look forward to writing a new chapter in Sino-Belgian educational exchange and cooperation.
