Subject: Exploring the Application of Flipped Classroom in Mechanical Engineering Courses

Topics in a typical Mechanical Engineering course may not always capture students’ interest. To enhance student engagement and make more effective use of class time, the flipped-classroom approach was implemented in both Circuits and CAD courses (which were not restricted to ME majors). In the seminar, the effectiveness of this teaching method will be evaluated, along with student feedback on workload, mastery of new topics, and other factors. The presentation will conclude with a discussion on the variety of learning materials (such as pre-recorded videos and activities) and learning preferences reported by SCUPI students.
