Event Review | Flora Music Festival Ends Successfully

On the afternoon of March 29th, the final round of the 2024 Flora Music Festival, hosted by Sichuan University-Pittsburgh Institute, unfolded successfully in the auditorium located on the ground floor of the newly inaugurated SCUPI Building at the Jiang’an South Campus. Dean Minking Chyu, Associate Dean for Research James Lee, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Ye Li, and Director of Administration Wei Tang, along with representatives of professors and administrative staff, joined the students in experiencing this captivating visual and auditory extravaganza.

The finals implemented a comprehensive scoring system, where the cumulative scores from both the preliminary and final rounds determined the contestants’ overall scores, supplemented by on-site audience voting. Following spirited competition, the champions of the 2024 Flora Music Festival were ultimately revealed. They are:

Faculty and staff delivered captivating performances, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Interactive activities like ‘guess the song’ and lucky draws engaged attendees, fostering a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and joy at the Flora venue, with faculty, staff, and students participating enthusiastically.

At the end of the event, the organizing team for the 2024 Flora Music Festival sang “Try Everything” together, expressing SCUPIANS’ courage to forge ahead and try everything.
