Event Recap | Sharing Session for 2024 Summer Social Practice Successfully Held

To further implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, promote the development of practical education, and highlight the excellent achievements of this year’s summer social practice activities, the Sichuan University – Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI) held the Sharing Session for 2024 Summer Social Practice on the afternoon of November 29th, 2024. The event was attended by Assistant Dean Ye Li, along with team advisors, student counselors, and student leaders.

1. Overview

The session was hosted by Qiushi Zhao, who provided a comprehensive overview of seven teams.

2. Team Presentations

During the presentation, team leaders showcased their achievements, personal growth, and insights.

3. Teacher Feedback

In the feedback segment, team advisors summarized and evaluated the teams’ performances, offering constructive suggestions. They praised the students’ accomplishments and encouraged them to view social practice as a ladder to personal growth, remain engaged with societal issues, and actively participate in future practice opportunities.

4. Awards Ceremony

Certificates of completion for the 2024 Summer Social Practice were presented by teachers to the team representatives, recognizing their outstanding contributions and performance.

5. Closing Speech by Dean Ye Li

The event concluded with a speech by Assistant Dean Ye Li. He commended students’ progress and achievements during the 2024 summer social practice. He urged them to continue using practical opportunities to combine theory with applications, integrating their knowledge and experiences into their studies and lives. He encouraged them to strive to become high-caliber talents with a strong sense of social responsibility.
