Dan Li majored in Materials Science and Engineering at SCUPI. Admitted in 2015, he was among the first cohort of students to participate in the 3+1 dual-degree program with the University of Pittsburgh. During his time at SCUPI, he served as the inaugural president of the SCUPI Debate Association, was a key member of the Student Union and the football team, and received honors such as Open Day Ambassador, Diplomat Award (Diplomatic Star), and the Sichuan University Comprehensive Scholarship.
In 2018, Dan went to the University of Pittsburgh to complete his joint undergraduate studies, graduating in 2019. He then continued at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering. After receiving his master’s degree, he joined Volvo Cars as a Global Trainee.
The sharing session began with opening remarks from Dean Chyu. Students from all grade levels participated actively, asking enthusiastic questions and creating a lively atmosphere.
