Alumni Reunion – SCUPI Shanghai Alumni Gathering Event

On December 16, the CA group of SCUPI meticulously organized the Shanghai Alumni Association event. Utilizing the platform of the alumni association, graduates of the classes of 2019 to 2023 gathered together, marking the first offline reunion for many alumni after graduation. Dean Chyu and SCUPI staff attended the alumni gathering in Shanghai.

The event began with an ice-breaking, self-introduction session. The alumni made a brief introduction on their graduation year, major, current academic or professional pursuits.

With the surprise entrance of Dean Minking Chyu, the atmosphere became even more lively as alumni embraced the warmth of reuniting with their former peers. Alumni recalled their previous experiences at the Institute. Dean Chyu attentively listened to the aspirations of each alumni and discussed their recent life and career development. Everyone felt the care and encouragement of SCUPI, and the event atmosphere was increasingly fervent. Alumni opened their hearts and shared each other’s experiences and thoughts, transforming their identity from “alumni” to even closer “friends.”

Finally, Dean Chyu summed up the recent developments of the Institute and plans for the future and also extended sincere blessings to the alumni on behalf of the Institute, hoping that every alumni can pursue their dreams with courage and that the Institute will always be the safe haven and strong support for alumni.
This gathering was not only a beautiful memory but also tightened a close bond among SCUPI alumni. On this special day, the friendship between alumni and the Institute was strengthened, and alumni will embrace the cherished memories of the past and move forward courageously, chasing their own futures.

We sincerely hope that more alumni will return to the Institute, maintain close ties with the Institute, play the role of coordination and guidance better, and contribute to the development of the Institute and University.
