2016-2017 SCUPI Student Award Ceremony was held successfully

On the evening of May 19th , the 2016-2017 SCUPI Student Award Ceremonywas successfully held. Minking Chyu (Dean of SCUPI), Michael Reed (Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of SCUPI), the teaching faculty and administration staff, the class of 2015 and 2016 student representatives attended this ceremony.
SCUPI Student Award aims to praise students or student organizations that have made remarkable non-academic achievements or significant contribution to the institute during the 2016-2017 academic year. There were totally 12 awards given on the ceremony, including 2 group awards (e.g., Outstanding Program of the Year and Outstanding Organization of the Year) and 9 individual awards, encompassing Emerging Leader Award, Outstanding Leader Award, Innovative Engineer Award, Residential Leadership Award, Community Contribution Award, Athletic Talent Award, Artistic Talent Award, Entrepreneurship Award, Diplomat Award. Besides, the King and Queen of the Year were voted on-site, elected by attendees of the night.
