SCUPI Administration Office recognizes and rewards SCUPI community members who have made significant contributions to student life and the surrounding community. Deserving students are nominated for the following awards during the spring semester each year. Self-nominations are also encouraged.

Outstanding Program of the Year
Recognizes a student group or an individual for its exceptional creativity, planning,and execution of a program, which involved a wide range of attendants andenriched students’ college experience.
Outstanding Organization of the Year
Recognizes a student organization that has excelled in teambuilding, programplanning, and leadership development, and made a positive impact in thecommunity.
Emerging Leader Award
Recognizes a freshman or sophomore student who has taken on new leadershiproles and has demonstrated significant progress towards achieving their leadershippotential through campus and community involvement.
Outstanding Leader Award
Recognizes a student leader who has taken on leadership roles in SCUPI whilemaintaining academic excellence. Through his/her leadership skills and initiatives,the student has made a significant impact on the SCUPI community throughout theacademic year.
Innovative Engineer Award
Recognizes a student who utilizes creative and innovative ideas to enhance theSCUPI community, including the creation of new programs, implementation ofnew ideas,and the utilization of creative problem solving skills.
Residential Leadership Award
Recognizes a student who served to provide a pleasant living environment andmade an outstanding contribution to the community in the residential area.
Community Contribution Award
Recognizes a student who has worked selflessly and effectively in addressing socialcauses and devoted his/her time and effort to better serve the community beyondcampus.
Athletic Leadership Award
Recognizes a student who did outstanding work building and leading a team anddemonstrated athletic spirit. It also recognizes positive contributions athletes maketo the SCUPI community.
Recognizes a student who demonstrated a strong interest in innovation and startedinitiatives and programs through awareness of the needs of others. This awardespecially recognizes someone who turned an idea into a venture that benefited thecommunity.
Recognizes a student who made a difference in improving student-faculty andstudent-staff relationships through their outstanding communication skills andinterpersonal skills, and who is dedicated to build a warm and harmoniouscommunity.
